The first of the stops was the wonderland of Walmart. Though Walmart has pretty much everything you could imagine, it does not have vanilla beans. We looked high and low, up and down, backwards and foreword, and even in someone else's cart and still couldn't find any! But we did find some pruning shears, but that's besides the point. So we moved on to the next store; Target. Thinking that my first love would have everything...it didn't as well! But, we got sidetracked by these two metallic deer "dancing" together in the Christmas decoration aisle. Scott took a picture if you are interested. We did buy some vanilla sugar that costs $8 for 8oz. and some custard cups, so I guess our trip wasn't too useless. So we continued on our search for the precious bean of vanilla. Scott remembered the great Sunflower Market on State St. So we went there to hopefully finish our short outing. And then, after passing through the millions of varieties of rice and granola we reached our destination; The Spice Aisle. We used the same locating techniques in the before mentioned trips and to our delight and wonderment our prized bean was found!!! We fell upon the ground rejoicing and praising our bean. At last our journey was complete. Alas, the Austrailian Sunflower Market Associate questioned us and led us to the promesed land of $2.99 vanilla beans. When we beheld this our eyes wept because we knew that this was the holy bean that only the angel of the sunflower market could have brought us unto its presence.
Praise be unto the bean.
